UPDATE 4/2/2020: Ohio is currently under a stay-at-home order and our cabins are CLOSED until the order is lifted. The details of the order can be found here.
We continue to receive more and more questions as the COVID-19 situation unfolds. Rest assured, unless there is a state-wide travel ban, quarantine, or an order for short-term lodging to close, Carefree Cabins will remain open. The Hocking Hills State parks and surrounding metro parks are still open for visitors. However, all facilities such as the visitor center are temporarily closed.
Grocery stores such as Walmart & Kroger remain open, gas stations are open, and most restaurants are still open for carry-out and delivery. Here is a list of places you can still get food & drink around the Hocking Hills.
Carefree Cabins has always been 100% committed to the cleanliness of our cabins, but we’re taking extra measures lately to protect the health & safety of our guests. Check out our blog post to learn more.
Lastly, we recently partnered with SquareMouth to offer travel insurance to all our guests. Travel insurance can protect you from a wide variety of unexpected events during these uncertain times. Whether you book a stay with Carefree Cabins, or any other lodging company in Hocking Hills, we strongly encourage you to visit https://carefreecabinshockinghills.com/insurance and find the “Cancel For Any Reason” policy that is right for you. We have not made any changes to our cancellation/refund policy, but we are working with guests who need to reschedule due to health issues or events being cancelled/rescheduled.
If you have any questions or concerns about your upcoming stay, or about a new booking, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us by phone, email, or on our Facebook page and we’ll do everything we can to help.
